Hello,
here an idea you shurely have dreamed about: a Tour de France on skates.
Some skaters will realize their version of it from 8th to 27th of august 2009.
The difficultie of the tour and the charakter of the event were difficult to choose.
Within the first year, it will be a competition during 16 days. The whole tour will be 1300 kms long and you have 17000 m rising.
You will get along some famous places like Mont Saint Michel, Hossegor, Annecy, the height of Galibier, the alp of Huez and Paris.

Well I just come back from Talking to a sportrs facilities planner & funder on behalf of the Timaru City Council, a couple of days ago.in my home town, We are looking for $100 K to fix up our Rink & coat it with the World coating, I appropriatly bumped into the Mayor after the meetting & things are well on track.
I had an email back that my enthusiasm was infectious, so it must not be a common factor.
With the executive consultant for the Asianic Inline cup, we will see some action in the future.
Next year in my home town Timaru we are likely to have a Double header an Asianic Inline cup Maraton in Christchurch & a mid week evening Tour of Sourh Canterbury stage race, with another Asianic Inline Cup race on the Sunday, in the middle of our city..
Hey that J.L. Dude got himself out here, you get out here & your wife & we will look after you,be Mid to late January, its about time yoy showed up .
