Hello Robert, I have sent many e-mails to Debbie Rice about sending her money to ship my NROC wheels. I have gotten no response and would like to get my wheels . Don't know where else to turn. Thank you , Derek Mantyla

THX, this is something that is very new to me, so I really don't know a lot about it. Went looking at skates the other day & tried some on, have not got any as of yet. Did pick up some wrist guards. Plus it looks like you rollerblader's wear almost the same outfit as us cyclist, lol Thats good, wont have to go buy anything extra.

Going to pick up some knee & elbow pads soon & it looks like I can just use my bike helmet, any other tips on safety??

I'm just finally getting back into it, I last competed in 2004 then became pregnant with my first baby, circumstances after that just weren't good for me to get any consistent training. I did still session skate though. Then I had my daughter in 2008. I'm just now to the point where I am able to consistently practice, twice a week now. It's still difficult to get anymore skating training than that since I can't just take off and go skate somewhere when I have a 5 yr old and a 2 yr old. My 5 yr old has started skating though now, he's been going to speed skating practices with me, so now hopefully it's only a matter of a little more time before both my kids are skating and then they can just go with me to practices at least. :)

Hi Robert,

Yeah, it has been a different kind of spring/summer for me not being able to skate. I have a soft tissue tear in my foot and it has taken forever to heal. I tried skating two months ago when I thought I was 90% healed, but that was a mistake and set be back. The healing has gone slowly and I think it would be wise to take the entire summer off, to make sure I am fully healed this time. Thanks for asking. I read Inline Planet almost daily.

Thanks so much for your support Robert. The website for our race is up and running along with the pre registration. So we are hoping for a good turnout.
