Hey, I'm back from the great eskate, posted some video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bl5pUYXF4rUwas a great event, looking forward to getting myself ready for a summer of skating now :)(^_^)/mike.
The route is really good, smooth mostly downhill. There is only the one rough section, otherwise it goes by very quickly. Katy MIlls is kind of in the middle of no-ware, but lots to do in Austin obviously.

We have awesome smoked meat down here too. Next time, you can try some of it. :) Shicoff may not know the best places for it, though. ;)
