I agree Ron. It has a quiet neighborhood feel and the only city lake I'll skate around. The Midtown Greenway isn't too bad either.

In the winter I skate (and work) at the RollerDome. In the summer I will either skate from my home (downtown Mpls.) to the Midtown Greenway or hop in the car and go over to Lake of the Isles. My favorite race is the SPIM and coming in a close second is Big Granite in Ashland, WI.
