IMHO I would say you should have a time of 1 hour and 40 min. or less for a marathon (26.2) to be considered good, having trained at all for the event.

It's been about a year now and I myself still have pain when I try to push my left hand back, it has been getting well very slowly, but it's getting well. I find that massage really helps and to just keep working with it. I could not push my hand back at all when I first started to work with it. I hear it take's a very long time to get it moving again. I can now bend it at about 90% with pain, about 85% without pain. I'm just starting to get over the fear of falling on my skate's and I am getting much better at stopping. lol I hope your wife get's better soon. :P

Yes, I did require surgery. I now have one plate and 7 screws in my left arm. Also I broke it about 2 mo.s after I started indoor speed skating, I was starting to skate faster at the time and did not know how to stop very well. I hit my arm on a bar going off the skating floor and then held onto the bar. I pulled both bones out of place and had 4 fractures of the radius. :(

lol Thats funny! I started to skate about 2 weeks before I should have myself. It was so hard to sit back and see everyone having a good time, I just had to get up and skate. :)
