Social networking for inline skaters

Hey All,

Just wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a speed skating coach in the Los Angeles area. I've been skating for years but have recently been making the transition to speed. I need a lot of work technique-wise and would like to find someone I could meet up with now and again.

Let me know if you have any suggestions.

Thanks,

Jeff

Hi, Jeff. I think there is at least one speed coach in that area. But you would be better to ask the skaters in this SoCal group: http://community.inlineplanet.com/group/scskaters

Hope that helps! - Robert

Thanks so much Robert. I'm actually planning to meet this group for a skate this coming Saturday morning. Hoping they'll be able to steer me in the right direction.

Hi Jeff. I am a So Cal Speed Skater, Roger Olson and have shared some tips with some skaters over the years. Was an Instructor for IISA a few years back teaking skating in Hawaii/So Cal for 3-4 years. So my question is what are you looking for in the way of skating? Speed? Road? Indoor? Street Skating Skills? Just where are you heading with nyour skating? This way I can try to help you with your needs. Welcome to So Cal. My home base is in Irvine, we are on Tour now. Talk with you soon.
