POWERSLIDE MATTER WORLD TEAM 2010

Now it´s official, the Powerslide Matter world team 2010. Powerslide and Matter once more confirm their strategy of supporting speedskating and speed skaters as much as possible. Once again we team up more skaters than any other brand out there, as we believe that supporting the skaters keeps the sport alive. The most important thing to keep speedskating at its current high level, is to allow skaters to skate 24/7, and this is what Powerslide and Matter wheels together have been doing for years now.
The 2010 World team, is a proper World team, with skaters from all over the globe, all highly decorated champions, mixed with some new talent.

The core group of Powerslide /Matter skaters known now for years, stays together: Yann Guyader, Kalon Dobbin, Fabio Francolini, Andres Muñoz and Matteo Amabili. To these 5 World champions we add two more: Nam Joo Yong, the best ever Korean speedskater. A true fighting spirit, always giving 110%. Read more about him on our teamsite, just click on the below image to access it. And also new this year Scott Arlidge, from New Zealand. Not only a great skater, also highly talented in product development and team management. So his role will be that of a top skater on one side, and that of a teammanager/product tester on the other hand. Already now, Scott is working on new Matter wheels, together with the entire World team.
And finally this year also Felix Rhijnen, from Germany, made it to the team. With his medals at Europeans and Worlds in 2009, this young gun proved that he is ready for the major league in speedskating, and we are happy to welcome him in our World team. Besides his learning position in the World team, he will also act as the leader of the Europe team, which will be announced soon as well.
Furthermore Powerslide Matter will continue its ladies team. Announcement to follow soon also.

Hats off to Powerslide. It is fielding a a big and strong world team. ... Hard to imagine that it won't dominate. ... Wonder if Joey Mantia will be racing the WIC this year?
