So what's everybody skating on this year?

Here's my new setup:

All Bont: Jet boots, 109mm magnesium frame, 110mm Generation3 wheels.

Not a new set up, but a very reliable one.. had them almost 2years. No plans to change any time soon

I can see you've got Pinnacle boots and Cado Motus frames. Which frames are those exactly?
Yep those are Cado Motus... 4/110 13.2.. as stiff and strong as they get.. I've tried others, but they just are not as good IMO. The boots are Pinnacle customs.

Bont Jets, aluminum frame, 100mm Hyperstripes
Love them!

Nice setup Robert, I have the sames ones. Just that I painted the boot. Bont Jet, 110mm wheels. Here they are:

Hi, Travis. ... Nice paint job. ... What did you do it with? - Robert
Here is a picture of my current skates. They are K2 Radical 90's with a Luigino Pilot 4x100mm frame. The wheels are 100mm prototypes. I bought them along with a bunch of other wheels from someone who was upgrading to 110's. I don't think they were ever produced which is a shame because I really like them.

I'm hoping to get fitted for Pinnacle custom boots this year at the Northshore Inline. I'm definitely ready for an upgrade!

Nice looking setup ... very eclectic ... one of a kind
started out with some sandpaper, then some flat black spray paint (taped off all the carbon fiber). It looked pretty rough right after (lots of cracking) but I used a paint pen to fill it in and continually touch it up every few hundred miles. The picture makes them look good, but they really look pretty beat up!

I can't seem to get used to this Bont Apache setup with magnesium frame and 100mm high roller wheels. I feel more stable on my old ZX5's with 90mm wheels. The boot feels good on my foot but I just don't feel stable when rolling.

Okay, I don't know how to insert a photo without it being an attachment, but everyone should click on the link because the skates are really pretty!
Very nice setup. ... Like the black. It is a bit of a learning curve adjusting to a new setup. ... But usually it's worth it.
