5th Annual Ottawa Inline Skating Festival

The 2009 Ottawa Inline Skating Festival will be held on September 6th. The Ottawa Inline Skating Club (inlineottawa.com) is hosting this event on a flat riverside course with excellent quality pavement. The Festival incorporates several events, and is enjoyed by skaters of all ability levels. Always fun and exciting, end your skating season on a high note, in Ottawa!

The Festival team is finalizing event details and preparing to launch a cool new Festival website. More details will be announced soon. Also new for 2009, the Festival is seeking to participate in the National Roller Cup (NROC) series. This is still to be confirmed but we hope to welcome NROC skaters to a northern stop in the series.

Sadly I will not be able to make this event in 2009 for I will be recovering from an accident the next 3 months then start to skate/bike I am hoping. 2010 season indoor and outdoor will now be my target and back up to speed in 6 months. March 2010. R(O)(O)(O)(O)ger

Is this event a go? I would like to give it a roll as it were. Perhaps as a tuneup for Le Defi.

This should be a very fun event and I hope to also get some ICE time in too while there with the locals after the Inline Marathon.
